Forts offers complex and exciting gameplay with nice graphics and charismatic heroes. The point is to build a fortress higher, more massive and stronger than the enemy's, and then bomb the walls of the enemy stronghold to hell and back. It sounds and looks primitive at first glance, but in reality the game is far from simple. Forts takes into account the laws of physics, calls for analytical thinking and calculation of actions, so it is, of course, impossible to build a satisfactory structure using the stick - stick - comma scheme. This 2D real-time strategy requires a thorough approach to the gameplay: the ability to combine flexible tactics and foresight. The starting mission Forts teaches the player how to use the interface and demonstrates the features of military engineering. A special category of units, miners, is designed to extract construction resources. They accumulate metal needed to build up the structure: the larger the metal supply, the faster the construction goes. The turbine on top of the building will produce electricity, increasing the power of the processes by one hundred percent. The enemy base is in the right corner of the screen if the user is going through a single-player campaign against AI. A multiplayer mode is available for online battles or playing in co-op with another player. Enemies open fire immediately, preventing the strengthening of modules. The higher the fort, the greater the risk of fire. To continue construction and personalization of the machine, fires will have to be quickly extinguished. The winner is the side that destroyed the enemy pile to the very foundation.
