She found them dismembered in the house, so she ran away into the forest in a panic, taking with her Mr. Midnight, a black cat who is the girl's best friend. Here she goes into shock, but comes to her senses in the Oswald psychiatric hospital, which specializes in children's problems. However, Fran cannot find her cat. He comes to her in a dream. And after waking up, the heroine decides to escape from this place to try to get to her aunt Grace's house.
