Frontlines: Fuel of War is a boiling first-person slaughter in a world where the war never ceases for a minute. Civilization is going to hell amid an energy crisis and a lack of industrial resources, for which the East and West are fighting. On one side is the coalition of the USA and the European Union, on the other is the Union of the Red Star, created by the states of Russia and China. The single-player mode of Frontlines: Fuel of War is presented by a campaign of eight mission chapters, in which the player is entrusted with the fate of soldiers of the 125th shock division called Stray Dogs, sent by Western control to Turkmenistan to protect an oil refinery from enemy encroachment. A war correspondent moves with the squad, documenting the events and frontline losses. The game also provides a multiplayer mode with online battles designed for the simultaneous participation of 64 players. The gameplay of Frontlines is organized so that in open clashes, opponents push back the enemy garrison from the front line, gradually securing the conquered territories for themselves. The player has six classes of units at his disposal, including air support, drones and electromagnetic technologies. Drones are a design know-how and allow for preliminary reconnaissance of the area without loss of life. The equipment is controlled by a remote control. The design and atmosphere of the game are made with a futuristic bias, despite the fact that the stated events take place in 2024. Weapons and special equipment bear little resemblance to modern military gadgets, and offer a wide selection of both firearms and helicopters, armored personnel carriers, tanks, attack aircraft and bombers. In total, there are more than sixty types of military equipment.
