Garfield: Caught in the Act

Garfield: Caught in the Act is a two-dimensional platformer that is based on the popular universe with a central character named Garfield. The red cat lives in the house of John Arbuckle along with his other pet - a dog named Oddie. The gamer will also meet other familiar characters that were encountered in the original stories and similar adaptations. The gameplay takes place in the classic style for the side-scroller genre. The campaign is divided into levels that are based on various settings.The storyline starts on one of the many days similar to the rest in Garfield's life. He is calmly watching his favorite TV shows, when suddenly he finds himself inside a TV. There he moves through the scenery of familiar films of different years with stylized names - Katablanka, cave cat, revenge of the orange, Cleophatra curse, Count Count Slobula and so on. All stages are distinguished by their visual design due to the difference of the primary sources depicted in the game. Various bonuses are scattered on the locations, such as pizza pieces to restore health, which can be lost in battles with enemies, and also a picture with Garfield is an additional life. As a weapon, all kinds of improvised means are used - skulls, stones, bombs, fish skeletons and so on.
