Gears Tactics is a turn-based strategy game about a war on the planet Sera. The events unfold in the future, when humanity has set out to colonize new worlds. On Sera, a horde of Locusts has emerged from underground, gradually destroying cities and settlements. The government closes the cities and convenes a military committee to fight back in the near future. Only a small number of survivors remain who are able to fight against the alien race. The player controls Gabe Diaz, gradually recruiting new characters to fight against opponents. The action takes place 12 years before the events of the previous part of Gears of War. The user creates special squads and hires characters of different classes to send them into battle. In the gameplay, you will often need to change your charges, improve them or watch them die. Ultimately, the heroes will get to Ukon, the leader of the Locust, who endlessly creates new creatures.The combat is a turn-based battle in interactive locations. The main character Gabe will have to train fighters and help them survive. Items and materials are scattered throughout the levels that allow you to create improvements. Characters gain experience and will be able to upgrade their skills. Sometimes the group will encounter huge bosses. During the passage, you will have to defend bases, reach a checkpoint, overcoming many enemies or play in survival mode until help arrives. Fighters have unique abilities and gadgets.
