Gitaroo Man

Gitaroo Man introduces a unique rhythm process, where the main character U-1 takes part in musical battles with various opponents. Each level unfolds in separate phases - Attack, Defense, Harmony and End - requiring precise movement along the trail line. Successful button presses during the attack restore health, and precise entries in the attack phase cause damage to opponents. The defense phase requires quick reflexes to dodge enemy attacks by pressing the appropriate buttons. The enemy life scale measures progress at the level, with various sections offering various tasks. Achieving higher ranks opens access to an extensive collection of objects that reveal the biographies of characters. After winning Masters Play, it becomes an expanded regime, it makes the process more intense due to the intricate drawings of notes and a more confusing tracer line. Versus mode strengthens the excitement, containing up to four participants, divided into two teams. Each team uses different parts of the Gitaroo Man melodies and its enemy, while some songs are modified for a balanced multiplayer dynamics. A duet is represented that allows two users to move together to move along exclusive levels - Metal Header and Toda Pasion - through a special session.
