GladMort takes the player to a distant kingdom, to mythical lands engulfed by a plague whose origin is unknown. An infection called the Red Plague is rapidly infecting the population. The sinister nature of this phenomenon is obvious: the dead rise from their graves, demonic entities appear. You have to confront events with grave consequences. These events plunge the kingdom itself into a state of ruin.GladMort is based on a medieval fantasy action platformer, created under the influence of previous arcade projects. This game was created with an orientation to the hardware capabilities of the NEO GEO. The gameplay requires precision from gamers; miscalculations entail immediate complications. Progressing through obstacles will require full dedication. Only those who have shown perseverance will be able to reach the end of the story. You have to overcome 5 stages, each with its own environmental features and threats.These territories are constantly attacked by enemies and various traps. Survival depends on the ability to remember the behavior of opponents and the speed of reaction. An arsenal containing axes, spears and maces is available. Each type of weapon has its own tactical advantages and disadvantages, which encourages adaptation of combat methods. The plot is based on the awakening of dark forces. The dead now roam the edge, and the kingdom is engulfed in fire. Dark witchcraft has spread, reviving the remains and defiling the souls of the living.
