Gran Turismo is a racing simulator in which the player gets behind the wheel of various high-performance cars. The goal is to drive these cars on various race tracks, competing against AI-controlled opponents. The project offers two different modes: arcade and simulation. You can get straight into the action, freely choosing the desired car and route. Victories on the track are rewarded with new vehicles and tracks to explore, offering a more casual and immediate racing experience. Simulation mode takes a more in-depth approach. You need to pass a series of tests to obtain a driver's license to unlock participation in various racing events. Winning these events not only gives you bragging rights, but also credits, trophies, and even exclusive prize cars. Completing certain championships unlocks additional content, including videos and new tracks to explore. Credits earned through progression can be used to expand your personal car collection, as well as modify and tune your existing rides for maximum performance. Before you can reach the big leagues, you'll need to hone your skills by earning various driver's licenses. These licenses test the fundamentals of racing, such as cornering, acceleration, and braking. With a huge selection of cars available, you'll need to strategically select a car that suits your racing style and the demands of the upcoming competition.
