In Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, the process is focused on winning races, championships and license tests to fully complete the session. Progress opens cars at certain stages, motivating you to succeed in various tasks. Gran Turismo mode boasts an updated structure, offering a more organized and dynamic series of races and challenges. Events range from short introductory events to long endurance tests and competitive team-ups against opponents. Car shops are categorized by country and manufacturer for easy browsing. Arcade mode features stages consisting of a variety of tracks that combine road and rally racing. Progress is dependent on completing all tracks in a stage on Easy or higher difficulty. Successes on higher difficulties unlock additional cars for use in any mode, including multiplayer battles and time trials. GT3 offers a varied racing experience with 19 race tracks, 14 of which are reversible and 4 of which are dirt tracks.
