Grand Theft Auto 3: High Quality is a fan modification for the original third part of the famous franchise, which became popular among fans of all ages. The game is an action game with a view from behind the protagonist and an open world, which was rare at the time of the project's release. The mod adds modern textures, instead of old, low-resolution ones. The gameplay remains untouched, as well as the missions of the single-player campaign, which tells the story of a young man named Claude, the name is not mentioned in the game, other characters call the protagonist the Guy. He finds himself drawn into conflicts between 7 groups fighting for power in a city called Liberty City - a fictional settlement that is a prototype of New York, and more specifically, the Brooklyn and Manhattan areas.Changes brought by the add-on:

• High-polygon car models, plus 9 new rides.
• The textures of the main character and trees have been replaced.
• The interface, loading screens and radar are now high resolution, as are the fonts.
• A new color scheme for the sky during sunset.
• Refined lighting effects, reflection and transparency of some surfaces.

This is not a complete list of updates brought by a group of fans who wanted to update their favorite part of the franchise. All 50 main missions and additional assignments work without problems, despite the huge changes made to the appearance of the project. The twists and turns of the plot begin with a bank robbery, in which Catalina and Claude participate. Because of the girl's betrayal, the hero almost dies and miraculously survives.
