Grandia 2 Anniversary Edition is a Japanese role-playing adventure, a continuation of the famous franchise about the adventures of great warriors who stand up to defend their home world from dark forces in the form of all sorts of monsters. Among the features of the project are such facts as: support for most gamepads available on the market, an extensive list of achievements of 36 awards, collectibles, a large number of save slots and a long story campaign. The main characters included in the group controlled by the player:

• Ryudo is the main character for the narrative, he is the key figure. A mercenary, skillfully handles a sword and stands out for his pure and kind mind.
• Elena is a female main character, joins Ryudo at the very start of his adventure.
• Millenia is a hot-tempered girl with great abilities. Falls in love with the main character as the storyline develops.
• Roan is the prince of one of the kingdoms of the world of Grandia 2 - Sairam. Loves to attack enemies with daggers and small knives.
• Mareg - the favorite weapon of this character, who appears before players in the form of a human beast, is a spear, as well as an ax.
• Tio is a robot who considers the team his family. Attacks with chakrams.

The main opponents of the whole story will be Valmar and Melfis. The first of them is the great god of darkness, who was defeated many centuries ago. Everyone, including the heroes, understood that sooner or later the antagonist would return and again sow evil in the vastness of the universe. The gamer needs to disrupt the plans of the villains and save the world from the threat.
