GTA 4 takes you to a new, breathing environment inspired by the real-world city of New York. Playing as Eastern European immigrant Niko Bellic, you can experience what it means to be a strange man in a foreign land while learning about the city's landmarks. The game revolves around Niko's own philosophy, which mocks American stereotypes and turns out to be right, but is also overly cynical, leaving interpretation open to the viewer. Grand Theft Auto IV has a complex plot with a long list of characters and is considered a new beginning for the GTA series, with a greater focus on realism and storytelling. It is a game that allows you to change the plot by making choices that have consequences. Niko is the protagonist, through whose eyes the player sees the world. The gameplay is so diverse that in addition to story missions, you can work in peaceful professions, look for items, participate in shootouts, interact with colorful characters, or even perform extreme actions with a car. There are a variety of vehicles that can be customized, and you can replace the car model or install new motorcycle models.Developing relationships with other characters can earn you various rewards, playing bowling together or visiting a cabaret. In GTA 4, you can complete more than one mission at a time. For example, some missions take place over several days and may involve waiting for phone calls or attending interviews, and you can do other things during the waiting period. A health meter tracks the damage done, and restorative tools such as eating or calling medics can help restore lives.
