With Guards of the Gate, a team of powerful heroes - the Guardians of the Gate - sets off on a dangerous journey to protect their native lands from the evil Dragon Lord. RPG with roguelike elements has turn-based battles on hex fields. The player needs to choose three wards, pumping up their talents and skills in the process to complete the mission. Among the fighters there is a shaman, a knight, a ninja, a mutant, a goblin, each of whom has 6 skills, where the user chooses 4 active ones before each fight.As they progress, warriors level up with the ability to choose one of two proposed buffs for a separate class, and also gain experience. The user forms a squad that moves along the hexagonal map, gradually opening new cells, where on each you can meet an enemy army, a merchant, a trap, a puzzle or a sanctuary. With the help of the latter, you can get basic skills. The battles are turn-based, where each participant in the fight acts in turn, using talents, skills, weapons to defeat the enemy. After completing the main 4 chapters of the Campaign, each of which has several dungeons where you have to fight bosses, the user opens the opportunity to choose the difficulty level, as well as the Arena mode. Here, the fighter and his team participate in 30 battles, for which the group receives bonuses and is pumped up.
