Labyrinths is a huge addition to the original Hacknet - a simulator of hacker life in the conditions of constant work. The project was developed by the efforts of a small indie studio, which has been creating games for a long time. Labyrinths adds 4 hours of gameplay, in which the player is offered the role of an important hacker in a team recruited by a recruiter named Kaguya. There is a built-in level editor, allowing you to create your own tasks in the style used by the developers, and share them with other users playing Hacknet.The plot of the add-on will tell about the events that occur during the interception of secret programs and utilities by a group of hackers. The player constantly needs to work in a team, because the task is complex and requires the work of several hackers. The team is controlled by artificial intelligence, and you can communicate with it using an IRC channel, because all the characters, including the protagonist, are located at a distance from each other. The tasks set before the gamer are much more complex than they were in the original, requiring a higher level of concentration and instant reaction to changing conditions. New mechanics have been added, with the help of which hacking or bypassing certain cybersecurity services is carried out. In addition to the old methods of doing work, more modern ones have appeared, for example, analysis of RAM thanks to the Memory Analyzer command.
