Haiku, the Robot – a metroidvania-style adventure. The user will be transported to a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by virus-infected robots and machines. The player moves through a strange and unknown land to discover various abilities and obtain useful items. The two-dimensional world includes many secret areas and mysterious objects. The main character walks left or right, jumps and crouches, and also uses attacking abilities to eliminate opponents. Exploring the surrounding areas, the gamer receives rewards in the form of found chests and powerful equipment. Among the items there are many consumables that increase some characteristics for a while. For example, the protagonist is able to quickly restore health, accelerate or hit more powerfully. Interconnected world with unique secrets, dangerous traps and enemies presented in the form of bizarre robots. The plot tells the story of how the human race quickly began to perish due to global warming. Most of the planet was destroyed and became uninhabitable. Robots with developing artificial intelligence descended into the dungeons to soon restore the Earth. 200 years after the incident, the machines were exposed to a virus that made them aggressive. The developer created pixel graphics in a retro monochromatic look with a modern twist. At certain levels, the color palette will change, but the user will only see a few colors at a time. Characters are pixel drawings that move due to frame-by-frame animations.
