Half-Life: Source - re-releases of the cult project on a more relevant engine for that time. The adventures of a physics theorist, completely preserved the gaming experience of the original and became a pleasant gift for fans of the series. Modern graphics and physical models of the game will allow new players to comfortably get acquainted with the ancestor of story shooters and fans of the series will return to the corridors of Black Mesa with nostalgia. The plot follows the original. A talented scientist Gordon Freeman works in a secret laboratory somewhere in the vast expanses of New Mexico. Another day did not promise anything bad. A young employee, as usual, dressed in a protective suit, goes to the test chamber to analyze an unknown crystal. However, the experiment leads to unexpected consequences. The world of Zen collides with our reality and now the entire research complex is flooded with grotesque creatures. Half-Life: Source was developed with the goal of porting to a new engine, and not cosmetic improvements. So visually the game has changed little, since all the textures were saved. The main improvements occurred at the technical level, subsequently affecting the picture. Technology made it possible to add realistic water, dynamic shadows, increase the drawing range, implement glare and advanced physics. All this ultimately increased the level of realism, allowing you to get completely new sensations from the game.
