During the passage, it is proposed to take care of plants and animals on your own farm. Gradually, new types of vegetation will be discovered, the cultivation of which can be done, as well as other types of animals with different habitats. In addition to choosing the main character, it is also possible to establish relationships with the opposite sex.Harvest Moon: One World provides the following activities:

• Completing quests is a primary task, which consists in gradually moving along the storyline.
• Relationships with characters - you can enter into close communication with 5 heroes of the opposite sex - there will be 10 in total.
• Firefly search - are analogous to improvements, as they can provide additional knowledge and opportunities.
• Farming - a secondary activity that allows you to develop your farm and expand production volumes.

To perform certain actions, you will need the appropriate equipment. However, there is no need to switch equipment yourself - it will be selected automatically in accordance with the action that the player wants to perform. Meeting participants in the action will offer the protagonist to complete some tasks for them, which, for example, consist of obtaining the necessary item. For this, they will issue a reward.
