Heartwood Heroes is an exciting tabletop role-playing game in which elements of humor, adventure and strategy are organically combined in an exciting gameplay. This project, designed for four participants both locally and over a shared network, uses the ideas of such cult tabletop works as Monopoly, Key and Risk, as well as fantasy and wit.The central place in the game is occupied by the Hero of the Week mode - a competition in which gamers fight for supremacy, accumulating experience points during the completion of a number of tasks and battles with monstrous enemies. At the core of Heartwood Heroes is a universal character customization system, offering a wide choice of more than 20 professions - from a mischievous criminal to a charismatic diva and even a courageous superpunk. Each profession provides the user with a variety of skills that can be used in combat and various scenarios. As gamers progress through quests, they get the opportunity to equip weapons, armor, accessories, powerful spells, and also hire companions to accompany their adventures.
