They are united in a non-public order organization called the Crown. Saku Otonashi, the main one in the Crown and the most magnificent student of Amakawa, one day almost becomes a victim of a terrorist act. She is saved from this by a certain Shinri Narita - an eccentric young man who also aims to become the 6th member of the Crown.
