The protagonist is an elf, and he is responsible for the murder of one of the snake riders - Desparil. After defeating the monster, Corvus was able to return home. And at this time, his native lands are already covered by a mysterious disease. And now he has a goal - to find a cure and not die himself.The game is made on the updated id Tech 2 engine and is an RPG action. But, in addition to battles, Corvus will also solve puzzles from levers and buttons. Gathering experience, completing side quests, upgrading abilities, he will gradually reach the main villain - Morkalavin. It is this representative of the Seraphim who is the cause of all troubles. In addition to the Seraphim, there are other unique races. The protagonist will have to fight them.The events in the second Heretic unfold from a third-person perspective, which added new mechanics to the game. Now the hero is able not only to swim, run, jump and dodge, but also to use other tricks. Corvus has access to a wide range of magical equipment from nine attacking and six defensive spells and weapons. Each piece of equipment has unique properties. This will help the protagonist fight opponents in intricate labyrinths.
