Heros Song gives the player an arsenal for deciding destinies and creating history, elevating him to the place of an all-powerful deity. In the Heros Song project, you can not only control the protagonist with a simple interface, dealing with monsters and stocking up on treasures and resources, but also create new lands, modifying previous forms with procedurally generated terrain, divine power and decisions made by the heroes. By choosing to belong to a certain pantheon, the player will be able to influence the geography of the open world, the history and genealogy of their character. The gameplay here is quite complex, and the consequences of reckless actions are severe. Death for the hero, no matter how cool he is, finally and irrevocably interrupts the adventure - you will have to start over again, and go through it more thoughtfully. You can use different combat mechanics to defeat enemies: hand-to-hand combat, ranged weapons and magical attacks, and do not forget about the dangerous traps that the environment is rich in.Of the big disadvantages of the project, the most obvious are: almost complete lack of sound, the impossibility of character customization, poor optimization and a boring universe, despite the fact that fantasy requires at least minimal elaboration of the lore. There is no talk of atmosphere either: it has nowhere to come from in the silence and cardboard decorations. Of the NPCs, only merchants engage in dialogue, and the rest of the people are stuck in the game for the sake of conditional content. In addition, the developers did not bother at all with the presence of quests. The only entertainment for the player is constant brawls with the possibility of losing upgrades and achievements overnight along with the death of the main character.
