Heroes of Might Magic 5 opens up new plots of the intricate story of the saga about the history of the fantasy world. It cannot be called a continuation of the previous parts, since not a single character from them was transferred, and those with similar names are nothing more than namesakes. Otherwise, the essence of the turn-based strategy has not changed. The player, just like in other parts, explores a huge world, conquers fortresses, recruits units and looks for various loot in chests, completing various missions. You won’t be able to choose a character yourself here, and despite the huge game world, the plot is linear and you won’t be able to deviate from it even a step.During the game Heroes of Might and Magic 5, you will have to play in 6 companies:

• Queen - the easiest level, in which Princess Isabel, the daughter of King Nicholas, goes to war with the demons.
• Worshipper - you will have to play for Agrail, who is forced to flee the kingdom and steal the Heart of the Griffin to kill the king of demons.
• Necromancer - will allow you to feel like the necromancer Markel, a former nobleman of the Griffin Empire.
• Warlock - in the role of Railag, you will have to prevent Princess Isabel from resurrecting her father.
• Ranger - here the main character will be the elf Faidaen, who will have to fix everything that Isabel did in her desire to bring her father back to life, having contacted the cunning necromancer.
• Mage - the most difficult level, in which the player will have to learn unexpected news, continue the struggle for power and learn an unexpected ending to the story.

As in the previous parts, all battles in Heroes 5 take place step by step. During the game, the player will have to constantly monitor the enemy's potential and the level of damage inflicted per turn. If you don't want to fight, the developers have provided for battles in automatic mode. In this case, everything is decided by the superiority of numbers and the pumped-up skills of the fighters.
