Developers Hero's Hour were inspired by the game's "Heroes of Sword and Magic", But with modified gameplay. The concept is the only thing that combines these 2 projects. But this game includes original characters, buildings, events, and maps. Territories are procedurally generated, and unapproachable locations, rivers, trees, or auxiliary elements appear in the terrain.
Gameplay includes 6 distinct factions. The races each have 7 different creatures and enhancements. Secondary non-playable creatures increase stats or give other bonuses. 40+ abilities you can use against your opponent's army or cast negative effects on them. Fog of War allows you to see nothing unless there are wards near the area. Any units disperse the fog and may probe the surrounding area for utility.
Cities are randomly generated, which entails a uniquely generated technology tree. It helps explore new technology, increase army stats, or unlock access to upgraded buildings. Heroes are strong characters that use magic and have increased characterization, comparing to standard fighters. Free match sets up artificial intelligence that does not use dishonest ways to win. Hero's Hour has 50+ spells and 120+ artifacts that greatly improve the kingdom or certain warriors. Infirmary helps heal wounded fighters and send them back into battle.
