Hitman: Contracts - a story about a mercenary 47th, who enjoys authority in narrow circles. The main character has retired, stopped killing, forgotten his skills. But you can't hide the past, and all the actions caught up with the protagonist. Having taken refuge from the hustle and bustle in an Italian monastery, the character begs for forgiveness for the crimes he committed - the plot is similar to the first part with the exception of some nuances. Now in the game Hitman the hunter has become a victim. The mercenary was wounded, trying to hide in a French hotel, loses consciousness. In moments of lack of reason, the main character catches flashbacks from the past - he remembers his native places, returns to where he began to kill. But multiple wounds to the stomach cause torment - this brings 47 back to reality. Hitman remembers the contract for Inspector Albert Fournier, who, together with the police, surrounded the hotel where 47th was hiding. Using ingenuity and skills, the mercenary completes the task, stays alive, hides on a secret plane. There he meets Diana, a colleague who reported that a mole had appeared in the Agency, leaking all the information about contracts and actions. But despite this, the Agency still has tasks for the elite killer. Contracts have become more complicated - targets are strengthened, acquire security that can interfere with the mission. The gameplay follows the canons of the series - a mercenary travels the world, carrying out particularly difficult contracts, using a wide arsenal of weapons. The player independently chooses the type of game - kill in stealth mode, crush enemies with a sniper rifle or machine gun. Half of the levels, and there are only 12 of them, are old locations, reworked in a new way.
