Hope Lake is a quest adventure in which the user will take on the role of a detective investigating a mysterious series of murders. According to the plot, for a long time, girls have been disappearing on the territory of an educational institution. In order to understand what happened, the main character moves to this place - there he will explore the area and look for clues. It is suggested to move around the locations in order to search for clues, as well as collect various useful items. The found items may be useful in solving puzzles in the future. Some items will be combined so that the hero receives a new effect from them. The game is made in the point and click genre, which is why in order to interact with the environment and move around the territories you will need to click on the corresponding area with the mouse.Hope Lake has the following opportunities for the player:

• Mini-games - in addition to the primary tasks, you will also have to participate in secondary ones. A total of 26 modes are available for completion, each of which has different rules and a way of passing.
• Puzzles - the main task that is proposed to be dealt with. To do this, you can search for the necessary objects, explore locations for clues and, if necessary, use the in-game highlighting of active areas.
• Choice of difficulty - there are two options that differ in the frequency and usefulness of hints. In hard mode, the help scale refills longer, and the highlighting of areas with which the protagonist can interact is disabled.
