HORGIHUGH combines elements of modern gaming and retro 16-bit shooters with colorful pixel art. The interface is not loaded with details, and any settings are missing, including volume control. The player in HORGIHUGH controls the plane, if it gets hit by an enemy attack, the aircraft crashes. At launch, you are given 3 lives and three opportunities to continue the game, choosing "yes" or "no" when the question Continue? After all the aids are exhausted, a new loss leads to the end of the round and you need to start over.

Destruction of some terrain objects is available. Enemy designs are sometimes shocking. Opponents will also attack in different ways, for example, they can suddenly jump onto the screen from the left. There are boosters, anthropomorphic heroes can be pumped. Thanks to weapons and equipment, more damage can be inflicted on the enemy. There are also several types of mechanics: the character dodges an attack at the last moment or teams up with an AI ally, controlling some of their movements. There are 13 bosses at 6 levels. There are 2 levels of difficulty offered for passing.
