The protagonist of Hunted: One Step Too Far has been looking for a hobby to his liking for a long time. In the end, he settled on geocaching - a tourist entertainment in which you need to look for a treasure left by someone at specified coordinates. You can take what you find, and put something else of your own in return. But the guy went on hikes not for hidden objects, but for the sake of a true spirit of adventure, always doing it at night, and alone. Having found another of these quests on the Internet, the protagonist went to the forests of Clearfield County. But this time, instead of treasure, he found a strange note, with which his path straight into the abyss of madness begins.Hunted: One Step Too Far is a walking simulator in the horror genre, in which suspense is created not by screamers and hordes of monsters, but by a frightening atmosphere, a tense plot, realistic and creepy ambient sounds. Players will have to explore the territory to find plot items and notes. To help in the search, a sound signal is provided, hinting about the presence of the desired object nearby. The game will take place in different locations - a forest, a mental hospital, a cemetery, a morgue and even an otherworldly dimension. The game also has skirmishes with monsters, but you can't fight them, the hero needs to run away from them or hide. Weapons are also not provided, the player will only have a flashlight from the permanent inventory.
