IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 - a military flight simulator in the setting of World War II. The edition includes all available expansion packs and user modifications, including Forgotten Battles, Operation Barbarossa, Stormtroopers over Manchuria and 46. Among the available aircraft, there are those that were only on the drawing board or the first production models, for example, the vertical takeoff German Heinkel Lerche, the flying wing Go 229 and others. In total, players can expect more than 200 aircraft. Along with the added maps, the list of battle locations has become even larger, and gamers will visit such locations as Midway, Normandy, Okinawa, the Pacific Islands, Kursk, Berlin, Murmansk, the Baltics. In IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946, you can play one of the company's scenarios, or use the creation of quick sessions in which you can specify friendly and enemy aircraft, their skill level, as well as a map. There are different scenarios available - more than 10 for the USSR, a mission for the British Royal Air Force, the USA, German, Finnish, French and Japanese missions. Flexible and detailed difficulty settings are provided - from ease of control and gun behavior to the combat interface, enemy highlighting, and terrain markings. This will allow both hardcore fans and beginners to enjoy. The game has a reliably recreated behavior of equipment in the air and a damage system that can affect controllability. A change of time of day and dynamic weather effects are implemented. In planes with a crew, you can change places, for example, with a gunner, to shoot back at enemies hanging on your tail.
