Illusion: A Tale of the Mind invites you to help Emma as she tries to save her circus strongman dad from an evil magician. The adventure-puzzle mix is set in a 1920s Parisian cabaret. The heroine will penetrate into the mind of her father - a fictional Universe that must be explored, beware of dangers and collect fragments of memories to understand the reasons for the depression of a loved one.A girl named Emma is at the center of events. One day, the heroine wakes up in a gloomy cave. The girl is chained to theatrical masks - tragedy and comedy. Suddenly, a plush magical rabbit named Topsy comes running, who saves the protagonist. Topsy turns the chains into a long scarf made of ether, and knows the girl's name. The rabbit joins Emma to help her on a difficult journey. The goal is to find dad's lost memories. In the process, the characters explore an imaginary surreal universe, finding photographs, posters, gramophone records. So the player learns a touching story about Euclid - a strongman who performed in the circus. The man's heart is broken, but what caused it, and what is the relationship of the girl to him - the user will find out as the plot develops.Gameplay Illusion: A Tale of the Mind is created as a walking simulator. The protagonist finds objects that unlock forgotten fragments of memory, overcomes various obstacles, solving puzzles on manipulating objects. For example, here you will have to correctly move the disks to create a certain symbol, find the right angle to recreate the correct drawings, combine glass shards. The levels are designed in different ways, for example, there is a battlefield from the First World War, where you will plunge into the horrors of war, as well as caves with intestines. The game is not completely linear, but there are tasks without which there will be no progress in the plot. There are also platformer elements, where you need to run away from dangers and enemies, jump over platforms, escape from strong winds.
