Imperium Romanum allows you to feel like a real Roman emperor. Depending on the player's actions and decisions, one of 19 available scenarios based on the reign of real historical figures will open. This gives the opportunity to observe the creation of history and the way of life of the ancient Romans, including the influence of religion and its manipulative capabilities for the government.At first, the player will receive a practically empty territory, which is in complete decline. The inhabitants are unhappy, therefore a little lazy and the population also leaves much to be desired. The new ruler must develop infrastructure, economy, military power and cultural education of the people. Depending on which path will prevail, various events will occur or special random tasks will be issued. Over time, the protagonist will be able to afford the construction of a gladiator school or the famous Circus Maximus. But construction requires a lot of resources, which first of all need to be obtained somewhere. Considering will have to immediately many details, keeping them in mind and at the same time conducting domestic and foreign policy, avoiding conflicts.If the player gets bored with the development of Rome, Imperium Romanum offers a full-fledged journey through the ancient states. The user will be able to examine the way of life of medieval Europe or watch the construction of the great pyramids in Egypt. Famous historical figures play an important role here and can often influence the peaceful course of the game, starting wars or making surprise attacks on settlements.
