Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is a game with a large, fascinating world and a huge number of possibilities. The brilliant Canadian animator Michel Gagné was responsible for the visual image, and the orchestra led by the rock band Dimmu Borgir was involved in the soundtrack. The result, created by artistic and musical geniuses, captivates both with the richness of the picture and the accompanying music. The plot in Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is given minimal attention. The entire background and further development of events is presented with the help of graphics and music, not a single word will be said in the game. In a distant star system inhabited by aliens, a catastrophe occurred: a black ball fell into the sun and after the explosion, pieces of coal muck fell onto the planet of the aborigines. The local hero, who will be controlled by the player, gets into his space saucer and tries to resolve the misfortunes that have befallen his home. The game world is an entire planet. It is connected into a single whole and consists of 4 separate biomes. The aircraft explores locations, solves puzzles and fights monsters. There are 2 types of opponents: ordinary and bosses. The first are easy to deal with even when they gather in a crowd, but with the second you will have to tinker and choose the right tactics. The UFO can be equipped with 9 tools for solving problems and fighting. The manipulators, lasers and plasma cutters used are improved: for this you need to find special upgrades. Not all dungeon passages will be available immediately. To get to some locations you will need to find special equipment.
