INSOMNIA: The Ark is a role-playing game set in a fictional universe of the future. The player will play the role of one of the inhabitants of a wandering spaceship that has been traveling through the vast expanses of space for 400 years. The futuristic Noah's Ark is inhabited by people from a planet destroyed during a global war. Only a small part of the population managed to escape to the Object-6 station, and some of them got there illegally. Due to sabotage, people sleeping in suspended animation chambers wake up. The main character, as a military specialist, is sent to investigate the incident.In INSOMNIA: The Ark, at the start you can choose 1 of 4 character classes:

• Thingmaster - a mechanic and demolitionist. The best option for lovers of repair, crafting and trade.
• Tector - a specialist in the field of applied medicine and in working with electronic devices. Bonus - improved learning ability.
• The Ranger is a master of long-range combat, best at handling any shooting thing, be it a sniper rifle, pistol or shotgun. Initial perks - increased damage, protection from shots and accelerated reload.
• Ordinator - an analogue of the Ranger, but for close combat. Also receives additional advantages in combat, but only in close contact with opponents. Expert in the use of shields and melee weapons. Passively receives a health boost.

Battles take place in real time. For protection, terrain elements are used, between which you can move in dashes. Each character has 2 slots for weapons: one for close contact, the second - for rifles, pistols and shotguns.
