Into Blue Valley Can be classified as a walking simulator. The Indi project features three-dimensional graphics and a traditional first-person view for the genre. In this game, the user looks at what is happening through a cassette video camera. This makes it look like it's playing a VHS tape. On the screen, sometimes there are image artifacts typical of old film.

At the project "Into the Blue Valley" there is a partially open world. It represents an abandoned and snow-covered village and its surroundings. Sometimes passages to other places are blocked by fences and other obstacles. The gameplay suggests wandering around the area, collecting some items and reading notes to the relaxing music that plays in the background. This small project can be completed in less than an hour. The controls here are simple. The keys on the keyboard W, A, S, D are responsible for movement, the mouse allows you to look around, and its left button allows you to interact with the environment.

In the story, Matt discovers a tape in an old couple's attic. He tells Ryan about the find. Friends decide to insert a strange videotape into a tape recorder. After that, the gameplay itself begins. While the user controls the operator, the two comrades watch and share their comments. At first it's not clear who filmed this video, and what he was doing in this place. However, as you go along, the backstory is revealed.
