Inuyasha: Feudal Combat invites you to a dynamic battlefield, where strategic pairs and synergy between characters determine the process. Since a maximum of four characters participate at a time, the rules dictate a unique structure: no team can consist of two characters, which requires a variety of partnerships for each confrontation. The campaign offers a quartet of different modes - History, Mission, Battle and Practice, and each presents its own tasks and opportunities for achieving mastery. At the heart of combat is the Spirit Gauge, a vital element that, when filled, allows for a special finishing move. To activate this move, you must hold the circle button, triggering each character's individual finisher. However, when characters fight in tandem with a partner, an interesting twist occurs. When the synergy between the duo reaches its peak, a single press of the circle triggers a joint finishing move - a powerful combination of their abilities. Certain pairs of characters create their own unique combination maneuvers, opening up a variety of tactical possibilities. What's more, the user can manipulate the dynamics of battle by choosing one of four formations that determine the role of the partner.
