Iron Lung tells us that several decades ago, all celestial bodies suddenly disappeared along with their inhabitants. Only deserted rocky asteroids and several gloomy dwarf planets remained in outer space. Those representatives of the human race who were on research stations and shuttles during the universal catastrophe survived. Energy and food reserves are gradually running out, the infrastructure is inevitably falling into complete decay, the pitiful grains of the human race are trying in vain to find at least some useful minerals in the most remote corners of the galaxy. But so far to no avail. The user will have to take control of a submarine assembled from old parts of a lost space base and descend to the bottom of a mysterious depression that was discovered in an open anomaly of one of the scanned planetoids. The main character needs to find his way to marked places in the vastness of mysterious locations. The gamer will take numerous photographs, explore the environment, stick to the schedule before the fragile underwater vessel falls apart, and also hide from a terrifying creature that lurks in the Bloody Ocean. The Iron Lung game has the following features:
- Experimental gameplay in a minimalist style.
- Orientation on the terrain using incomplete satellite data and tracking beacons.
- Unique atmosphere of thick fear, paranoia and hopelessness.
- Original musical accompaniment by Aubrey Hodges.
- A full walkthrough will take about 60 minutes of game time.
