Battles in Island Crusaders take users back to medieval times, when conflicts and disputes often arose between states that could only be resolved by military action. The game is made in the form of a tactical strategy in real time, where you have to take control of one of the factions and go into battle with your opponents. The graphics are done in cute pastel drawings, creating a fabulous setting and atmosphere as you pass.

Going to Iceland Crusaders, players will have to:

• Play through 20 hand-created levels designed specifically for the story campaign.
• Visit 4 themed universes in which the main events will take place.
• Unlock 9 unique units, which can be used in battles.
• Manage resources and recruit an army to create a strong defense for the castle.

The main objective for the user is to provide a reliable defense for the fortress, in order to fight off enemies. You will have to hire fighters, which have their own weaknesses and strengths. Each character is capable of making a difference on the battlefield if they are combined correctly and placed thoughtfully on the map. Soldiers will attack and move on their own, and gamers will only have to issue an initial command for further action, which programs the units' behavior.
