This edition features 63 hired fighters, each with their own unique character and experience, useful skills (medic, sapper, repairman) and characteristics (stamina, intelligence, accuracy). For their work, mercenaries require timely wages and can conflict with each other, which affects recruiting opportunities and behavior in battle.
