Journey to New Atlantis Takes gamers to a world where the apocalypse has happened. The planet has almost completely dried up and turned into a wasteland. A girl named Lana's grandfather gets sick. She and her friend Marco go in search of water for the old man. Children want to find an oasis city that has been dubbed the New Atlantis. The story brings up the themes of ecology and environmental protection.

The game belongs to the point-and-click adventure genre. In Journey to New Atlantis you can control everything with your mouse. When you double-click, characters change from normal walking to running. Gameplay is as follows: guys are traveling through the ruins of human civilization, collect scarce water resource, find different things, use items from the inventory on the environment, solving puzzles, communicate with NPC. There are a variety of maps. There is a rusty dry cargo ship, a village made of animal bones, a raider camp.

There are critical bugs in the project, because of which you may need to restart the game or re-launch the entire game. Sometimes one of the two protagonists freezes and doesn't talk, which breaks all scripts with him. On the third episode the title sometimes hangs up, throwing the user on the map with a choice of locations and depriving him of the opportunity to move on to the plot. Also, the protagonists do not always respond to the cursor.
