You can control the hero, interacting with the world around you, using special sounds and emotions. The player will have to solve puzzles, explore the territory and search for character upgrades. Also, during the journey, you can meet other players, although their names will not be shown. This is the point of the game - having met a stranger, decide whether to go further together, or go their separate ways.The main goal in Journey is to get to the mountain visible from afar through various trials, meeting the same wanderers along the way. You can interact with them in different ways, for example, express emotions, sing songs and share energy. You can team up and achieve the goal together, but if the characters want to go their separate ways, it's okay, because you can cope with your task alone. The hero's red scarf has magical properties that allow you to ignore gravity, flying above the sand. To increase the duration of the magical action, you need to collect special signs scattered around the locations, which makes the scarf longer. Traveling through the desert, it is worth remembering that sounds of different tones, caused by just one button, awaken sleeping creatures that affect the gameplay.
