A young journalist, working for an adventure publication, goes to Iceland in Journey To The Center Of The Earth. The helicopter the girl was flying on landed in the mountains on the ledge of the Snæfell volcano. Suddenly, there is a landslide, as a result of which the transport becomes unusable, the pilot disappears, and the heroine accidentally finds a strange portal. The casual adventure is based on the work of the same name by Jules Verne. In 2005, a journalist named Arien takes another editorial assignment, so she goes to Iceland. While filming local attractions from a helicopter, the protagonist gets caught in a landslide. Having taken things from the broken aircraft, the girl goes to explore the area, discovers a cave in which there is a portal leading to the center of the planet. The heroine will have to explore strange lands, getting to know their unusual inhabitants, gradually discovering local secrets and solving puzzles.Journey to the Center of the Earth features a ton of locations that can only be accessed after performing certain actions - then the next one opens. The tasks on each are different - the protagonist saves a tribe of giants, helps a fisherman catch his catch, looks for ingredients for an elixir, repairs the city's power grid, sets up mining equipment, heals soldiers at a guard tower, repairs a hot air balloon. The character takes mandatory assignments from NPCs, without which progress is impossible. Walking, running and jumping are used in the process. Among the puzzles there are many original ones, for example, the Towers of Hanoi, tasks with weighing.
