Kingdom Rush Origins is the third project in a series of games in the Tower Defense genre with RTS elements. The project is a prequel to the very first part. The setting here is traditionally fantasy. The design, general style and sounds have remained the same. However, now you have to play for the elves. A gamer familiar with previous products will feel at home here, and for beginners there are training materials. There is also an encyclopedia, which contains useful information about all encountered enemies, including bosses, and buildings. In addition, it contains small guides.Like its two predecessors, Kingdom Rush Origins expands the user's capabilities, compared to other similar titles. Here the user not only places towers along the enemy's route in the allowed places, but also controls the hero and upgrades him. You can choose from Stitch, Lilith, Razza, Durax, Wilbur, Phoenix. These characters have ultimate abilities in addition to 4 regular skills. Fighters are unlocked as you progress through the stages. The choice of battlefield traditionally takes place on the global map, which has become more convenient. The game has 3 difficulty levels: beginner, fighter and veteran. The number of modes in it is the same: classic, iron and heroic. Defensive structures are still divided into 4 types: barracks, magic, artillery and towers with archers. However, here they look different. New improvements have appeared for them. As before, the user can place reinforcements on the road in front of the enemy, thereby delaying his troops, and direct a meteor shower on the heads of the enemies. For killing enemies, you get money, which is spent on buying additional buildings and upgrading existing ones. The story follows the elves as they defended their lands from gnolls, evil sorcerers, and sea urchins before the evil Vez'nan attempted to take over the kingdom using the power of diamonds.
