Knighting+ is a bright pixel adventure with simple graphics, stylized as old-school toys from the nineties with rpg elements. Inspired by Zelda and retro masterpieces of the Spectrum and Dandy era. In this project, the cheerful main character is a little knight named Sir Lutalot, wandering in dungeons stuffed with traps, monsters and ghosts. He searches for valuable artifacts, saves money and gives it to evil, greedy bosses who do not want to share treasures. The plot of Knighting+ is simple, not complicated by any philosophy and not burdened with drama.The gameplay consists of exploring two-dimensional locations selected on the map, solving various puzzles and pumping up the character's skills, as well as periodic boss fights. The hero gradually replenishes his budget, bargaining with the seller, improves the combat mechanics and, to the unobtrusive soundtrack, collects golden keys to move to unexplored caves with completely non-medieval mechanisms, the neutralization of which requires ingenuity. The game fully supports the gamepad. With due skill, a full walkthrough takes an hour and a half, rewarded with the achievement in steam “Faster than a fireball”.
