For completing them, the user receives in-game currency needed to purchase equipment and weapons. Hellish creatures wake up and attack the world. The protagonist must find and reveal the secrets of 3 artifacts that will help to cope with evil. Non-linear passage, 18 quests, alternative endings, multiplayer - these are not all the advantages of the game.Artifacts are located in the cities:

• Sirmiut - became a cursed island due to the insult of the Druid Temple by Roman legionnaires. The local plague destroys only the Romans. The user takes tasks from the NPC to explore the city, battle with enemies, earning experience. The Gates of Hell are located here.
• Ilgar - an island of pirates, where the hero ends up after an attack and battles with the Saracens. Paul de Rac fights a local pirate, and after winning he gets coordinates on the map, overcomes obstacles, getting to the Great Portal, where the Divine Sword is hidden - a weapon capable of killing any creature.
• Yuzra - here the gamer needs to penetrate the dungeon in which the Key to the Hell's Gate is hidden. Before getting it, you will also need to escape from captivity, accidentally ending up in prison.

The gameplay in Templars 2: Portal of Darkness combines a slasher and an adventure, and the process itself consists of dialogues and battles. Quests are given after talking to NPCs. The tasks themselves consist of chains of help to other characters, for example, the old man has the necessary thing, he asks to get another item in exchange, the owner of the item asks to get another thing. Tasks appear in the journal, and the protagonist also has a map, receives a system of goals and inventory. During fights, combo techniques and magic are used, which is pumped up for experience points received for the death of an enemy and completed tasks.
