Kofi Quest: Alpha MOD entertainingly and humorously presents a hackneyed plot cliche: a lazy, unlucky video game character one day goes in search of adventures under the kick of his pretentious activist friends. The trick is that the computer hero is well aware of his virtuality. Together with a group of experienced adventurers, Kofi explores the secrets of the Neighboring Forest, punches enemies in the face and rides a domesticated direwolf.Little is known about the protagonist of Kofi Quest: Alpha MOD: he is an unbearable lazy person, a spoiled brat, and is friends with a green bug that probably evolved from trash into an intelligent creature. Kofi is a chronic loser who has absolutely nothing to do outside his home. Even sitting on the couch and playing on a console, he manages to lose to his shapeless friend until the console explodes from overheating, triggering a series of events. The guy would be happy to give up the exciting journey, but the universe itself pushes him to change. The game has a cartoonish arrangement, artistic voice acting of the main characters and a funny lore, which is a pleasure to study. Despite the presence of a plot conflict and a simple combat system, the gameplay is almost pacifying: a grumpy warrior who hates leaving the house, hangs around green locations, surrounded by a crowd of local kids, waves a sword, breaks boxes and jugs, collects coins to increase XP and soda with chips to maintain enthusiasm. Between saves in his own barn, he completes quests and earns bonus money by participating in mini-games.
