KRUM – Edge Of Darkness is the adventures of a noble warrior in the vastness of a three-dimensional fantasy universe: robbers lie in wait on the roads and in the gorges, monsters roam the forests, and the hero searches for his sworn enemy in order to deal with him according to the principle of talion - an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. The protagonist of KRUM – Edge Of Darkness is a modest, noble man living with his family in a small peaceful village. One day, returning home with brushwood, a man discovers a settlement in ruins: his friends are dead, and his relatives are kidnapped. One of the surviving eyewitnesses tells of the sudden appearance of some demonic forces, who for no apparent reason killed many souls and took the protagonist's loved ones captive. He has no choice but to save the captives, and at the same time find out what is behind the strange incident, because this dark story with a bandit raid is just the tip of the iceberg.Unfortunately, the project can confidently be called raw, despite the presence of a plot. The developers did not bother with optimization, gameplay, or combat mechanics, and the graphics were cobbled together on their knees. At the lowest settings, the game lags terribly, and the hero has no inventory, so all the food supplies that raise stamina are consumed right on the spot. The combat causes unbearable suffering: in order to carry out a training combo on a garden scarecrow, you will have to jump out of your pants and break the hereditary axe. And even if the player miraculously manages to perform a shamanic ritual with a scarecrow, at the first turn he will be beheaded by living, greyhound enemies. However, in this budget version of Gothic 2 you will also find some fun activities: for example, out of boredom you can eat fly agarics, catching a high until it dawns on the player that this is probably the only bloodless entertainment in this RPG.
