They have just reached your possessions and began to plunder the first villages, taking loyal partners and children into slavery. You will have to become the leader of a small village to collect the banners of each faction of barbarians and their allies, and then bring down all their power on Rome. Only you decide how to gather armies and conquer other factions. Conduct peace negotiations, or show strength so that your brothers understand who to follow. Unite different nations under one banner and achieve worldwide recognition. Before starting the game, choose one of 49 factions, each of which has its own infantry, archers and cavalry. All units have unique characteristics, weaknesses and strengths. Come up with your own strategy for capturing tribes and territories. Captured areas will instantly provide all people and warriors under your command. Create unions or alliances between rulers to suppress the Roman Empire together. Build on your territories, provide food and shelter for your subjects, and constantly recruit new soldiers. The overall map contains over 230 regions that can be captured or left untouched. Each region is ruled by its own king, mayor or lord.
