Last Days of Old Earth tells the story of the difficult life of the remnants of humanity, forced once a generation to move towards the equator, where the heat of the dying Sun still reaches. Every year, the environment becomes more aggressive, and resources are rapidly depleted. In Last Days of Old Earth, the player is invited to become the leader of one of the opposing factions competing for territory and the extraction of valuable materials needed to build and protect a settlement. People and robots alike need the benefits that the few oases found in the icy wastelands of the once fertile land can provide.Making decisions in a turn-based strategy, the gamer goes through a single-player campaign for the Skywatchers clan, which is controlled by representatives of homo sapiens, or the mysterious Automata cyborgs, once created by a vanished civilization.
