Leafing Home

Leafing Home allows the player to control a young squirrel who is looking for a way home and the fruit of the World Tree. This adventure combines the exploration of various locations, platformer elements, flights and several mini-games. The character interacts with the island's inhabitants, helping to restore the territory during their travels, and solving puzzles is part of moving forward.Air travel is a key mechanic in Leafing Home. The project offers different ways to fly: the gamer can quickly rush through the sky or smoothly glide over the four regions of the title. It is possible to change the mode right in the air to explore hard-to-reach areas. Air tasks include collecting paper airplanes, pouring water on fishermen, catching fireflies or following other squirrels to new lands, which brings you closer to getting the desired fruit from a certain bird. Players actively interact with the island's environment to revive it.Actions include planting 16 specific types of plants, collecting garbage to exchange for items and helping bee colonies. These efforts directly affect the state of the world. Additional involvement is provided by mini-games: working in a beach bar, synchronized movements with fish, volleyball, catching rabbits or singing together with bees; supporting the local bird population is also built into the structure of the gameplay. The plot is based on the squirrel Prevost, adopted into a family of flying squirrels. Being the only member of the group without the ability to fly, the protagonist feels different from others.
