The plot of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 starts from the moment the first part ended. The main character is an immortal vampire named Raziel, who pursues his main enemy Kain and jumps after him into a time portal. However, another antagonist, the cunning Mobius, interferes with his plans. He convinces Raziel to temporarily abandon revenge, since it is possible to destroy their common enemy only with the help of a magical time machine - Chronoplast. To get to the traitor of the vampire race, the collector of souls must visit certain places in the world of Nosgoth at different time periods in history. In Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, unlike the first episode, the emphasis is on the combat component of the game. The battles have become more dynamic, and the number of enemies has increased considerably. New skills and special attacks have been added to the character's arsenal. For example, the weak bloodsucker is quite capable of tearing weak zombies apart with his bare hands. The protagonist will be able to fight enemies both with his bare hands and with the help of a cold weapon. His key weapon - the soul collector - is also still available. As you progress, the main deadly toy is modified. There are 4 modification stages in total. The puzzles in the project are still there, but there are fewer of them. But they have become more difficult and interesting. Dragging boxes is a thing of the past: now the player must skillfully direct the flow of air and light with the help of improvised means and mirrors. Moreover, the puzzles are not limited to one room: usually its parts are scattered throughout the map. There are few locations themselves, but they change, since the same place of the skinny undead will have to be visited at different times.
