In Lego Island, the player arrives on Lego Island as a virtual tourist. The creator of everything around, Infomaniac, explains the rules of the game and gives the opportunity to choose a character. The main character of the story is Pepper Roni, and additional missions will have to be completed by playing his parents and police officers Nick and Laura. Each of them has an introductory video, which amusingly tells its backstory. The main plot is built around the accidental release of the main local villain, Brickster, by an unlucky pizza delivery man. Now the main character has to send him back to prison, save the island, and just have fun. Lego Island is a first-person adventure. Mostly free travel around the island is available, the ability to enter buildings, interact with various objects inside, communicate with non-player characters. At the same time, movement along the review is only available along the roads and paths drawn in the game. Players will be able to ride a bicycle and skateboard, go karts and boats, fly a helicopter. Part of the gameplay are mini-games, such as building objects, working on a tow truck, delivering pizza and racing races. In the game, you can also edit the environment - change the color of buildings and the protagonist, time of day, position of the sun in the sky and more.
